Kokum butter is one of the hardest, most stable plant butters on earth. It melts on contact with skin at body temperature, releasing garcinol — a powerful antioxidant — along with high concentrations of stearic acid that rebuild the skin barrier and oleic acid that penetrates deeply. It absorbs without any greasy residue and is known for its regenerative, cell-supporting properties. Jojoba is not technically an oil — it is a liquid wax ester, the same class of molecule your skin produces naturally as sebum. That biological similarity is why it absorbs so completely, never clogs pores, and works for both dry and oily skin. It carries vitamins B and E, has natural antibacterial properties, and helps regulate sebum production. Two ingredients that work the way skin already works. Both also offer a layer of antioxidant defense against UV-induced damage. Garcinol in kokum neutralizes the free radicals that UV radiation generates, and jojoba's vitamin E supports that same repair process. Jojoba also provides mild natural UV protection measured at SPF 2–5. None of this replaces sunscreen — but used daily, it builds the kind of skin that handles sun exposure better over time.

The story behind it
My roommate works at a dermatology office, and the head doctor there kept talking about kokum butter — how skin-compatible and regenerative it is. He passed it along, I tested it, and it earned a spot in the lineup. Consider yourself put on.
How it’s made
Kokum butter is gently melted and blended with jojoba until it sets into a firm, silky balm that melts on contact with skin. Two ingredients, made by hand in small batches.
